!st and 2nd Regiments of Cuirassiers

Just completed these AB figures, I think they look nice. Unlike other brands of figures, these have decent sized swords which makes a world of difference I think. I've put 12 riders in a regiment but these can always be doubled up for Gen de Brigade type rulesets. The only thing I'm not sure about is the cloak mounted on top of the portmanteaux, some people have painted the entire cloak in the regimental facing colour but I did notice a historix cuirassier kit with just a bit in the middle showing the coloured lining - anyway thats the look I eventually went for.

    Very nice looking units, AB are excellent figure, although a touch on the expensive side.

    Thanks chaps! Yes, they are a bit expensive so I've used AB's for most of the cavalry but nearly all my infantry are OG.
