Perry Crossbow men for Lion Rampant

Here are 12 crossbow from the Perry Brothers, I painted these as a militia type unit so they are more uniform than the Pavaisers I painted up the other week. They are based on 20mm MDF bases with tufts of grass. I had to use the flash on these and the results are not that pleasing, maybe I should have waited for natural light but that would have meant hanging on until the weekend!

      Thanks Andy, I had to rekindle my mojo somehow.

      Turns out that the French cities would equip their militias at their own expense, and buy in bulk so hence they were more uniform.
