Mexican Militia (activos)

I started these chaps before the line unit so they were partially finished, I'd tried to get them like the Old Glory example figures on the website. Although, I didn't quite get the colours the same I'm pleased with the results. The flag is by Battle Flag and I did notice that the eagle faces the other way compared with the line unit flags. Again, as you can see I've based some as skirmishers, although there is no shooting/reloading pose in this set - nor was there any command either! I've done a head swap with a line officer.

    Well, they are different! Perhaps I should I bought just two battalions instead of three. I'll probably paint these up in slightly different hues.

    They look fabulous Ken. The faces are particularly brilliant. The officer came up a treat too, nice conversion.
